You sent me this e-mail a few months ago, but I considered it best to answer when I had been here for a while, and after 4 months I can only say good things.
It is a very good experience that I can never regret. I arrived here with the idea of going back to Spain next year, but after only one month, I changed my mind.
We make friends forever, we are like a big family, since we are not at home and friends become everything to you. Regarding the University and the city of Szeged, both of them are real fine, the University is very demanding and has a good level, you learn a lot of English and they make you give your best, which in the end is what we’re all here for, studying to become DOCTORS, the dream we all have when we arrive here. The city is beautiful, safe and not very big, but it is a student city, so when you walk down the streets you only see students.
To finish, I can say that I would recommend anyone to come here, in my case, I gained admission without having to take the Pre-Medical but many of my fellow students did, and although you lose one year, you are actually gaining one in so many aspects, because you acquire knowledge that will help you in your first year studying Medicine, so do not be afraid thinking that you will be far away from home or that is seems impossible to achieve a degree in English, if you want to, you can do it. It is an unforgettable experience that should not go no to waste if you have the chance to do it.
I have attached some pictures of the city, of all Spanish students and other fellow students from other countries so you can see how we are doing and serve for future medical students like us, I hope you like them!
Kindest regards. I will inform you how I am doing.
